Summary
On EDI-enabled tenants, the dashboard shows an EDI Document Funnel — "Pipeline volume: POs through to invoices." It tracks documents through four stages and highlights where they drop off, so you can see whether trading partners are completing the full exchange.
Before you start
- Required role: Admin
- The tenant must have EDI enabled (this card is feature/tenant dependent)
Steps
- Open the Dashboard (
/) on an EDI-enabled tenant. - Locate the EDI Document Funnel card (bottom row, next to Supplier Efficiency).
- Read the four stages top to bottom — each shows a count and its percentage of POs issued:
- POs Issued — the baseline (100%)
- Order Acks Received — with a "missing acks" drop count above it
- ASNs Received — with a "missing ASNs" drop count
- Invoices Received — the final stage
- Watch the colored drop indicators between stages: green (<5% lost), amber (5–15%), red (>15%). A red drop means many documents never arrived at that stage.
- For non-EDI tenants, the equivalent surface is the dashboard's Upstream Orders / Upstream Invoices / Upstream Credits tiles.
What success looks like
You can see EDI document volume at each stage and immediately spot a stage with a large (amber/red) drop-off.
Gotchas / troubleshooting
- A large drop at one stage usually points to a mapping or routing issue with that document type — cross-check Upstream Routes and the supplier's EDI setup.
- If the card is empty, run EDI Metrics to populate the cache.
